Amanda Axelsson
Hello there! My name is Amanda. I'm passionate about
technology & physics, and spent 5 years studying Engineering Physics at
university. I've now worked for almost two years in IT consulting as a data
engineer. I've always been passionate about making the world more equal.
As a 16-year old I founded the non-profit organization Girls in STEM,
to connect young girls who had an interest in STEM. After that I've
worked with several organizations aiming to make the tech industry
more equal, including the foundation Womengineer.
I feel most at home when I'm standing on a stage - whether it is
talking about tech, playing the electric guitar or performing improv.
If I'm not able to do it IRL my stage is social media,
where I've created content for over a decade.

Hi! I am Roos, and if there is one thing I think you should know about me,
it is that curiosity is a driving factor in my life. It was the reason why I at 18
decided to leave Amsterdam to make Sweden my home, why I
choose a degree in Engineering Physics, and why I know work at a
patent law firm.
Besides an interest in technology, I also enjoy being creative with images,
videos, paint, and words. Combining those interests, sprinkle on a passion
for getting women and girls to choose, and stay in, a technical career
field, and you have the reason behind the foundation of FAMA
Communications.
FAMA Communications gives me an opportunity to discover new aspects
of what it means to be an engineer, and at the same time allows me to put
my skill set to use in helping our clients reach out to the right people, with
the right message.
